The series takes place in the realistic yet shadowy crossroads where European biotechnology multinational corporations, governments, intelligence agencies and politicians all intersect and fight for supremacy, at any cost.

    At the epicentre of this emerging battleground are two scientists and ex-lovers turned co-parents & workers, ALICE JUNOT (30s, female, French) and ALVARO VALA (40s, male, Portuguese) whose Belgium-based biotech startup company GAIA and its groundbreaking GMO research places them in the dangerous crosshairs of the powerful and ruthless players seeking control of this upcoming billion-euro market.
